#GIW26

Global Intergenerational Week, is an annual campaign that highlights the importance of relationships between different age groups. It’s about more than just “being nice” across generations. Now in its sixth year, Global Intergenerational Week (GIW) continues to champion and celebrate meaningful connections between generations across the world.

As founding members of Gen-All, we are delighted to be working together to celebrate Global Intergenerational Week, #GIW26. Home | Gen-All

The overarching theme for Global Intergenerational Week is ‘Intergenerational Practice is Nice ESSENTIAL.’ It’s about reducing loneliness, community resilience and combatting ageism. Apples and Honey Nightingale are excited to be taking part again, along with 13 other countries world-wide.

Every day there is a sub-theme, and we are planning a variety of programmes to demonstrate the many different areas that intergenerational relationships can benefit each of us, and society.

“Intergenerational connection isn’t just a ‘nice to have’ – it is the glue that holds our society together. At Apples and Honey Nightingale, we believe that when we talk to each other across the ages, we don’t just share stories; we build a better future.”
