Care That Connects: A Glimpse into Our Community
What happens when you bring different generations together under one roof? Magic – and a deep sense of belonging.
We are proud to share Care that connects: inside the care home building cross-generation communities, a short film, created by NCFE, that goes behind the scenes of our unique intergenerational model. This video highlights how meaningful interactions between children and older adults transform lives, combatting loneliness and fostering a vibrant, supportive environment for all.
Through shared stories, play, and mutual learning, we aren’t just providing care; we’re building a family. Watch the video to see the joy of connection in action.
Intergenerational day care and pre-school
AHN opened in 2017, the first Intergenerational day care and pre-school co-located in the grounds of a care home focused on developing a programme of mutually beneficial, therapeutic, educational and meaningful engagements every day.
Experiencing is believing!

Our ground-breaking programme
