Nicky Bannerman

Fundraising Committee

Nicky is a Speech and Language Therapist specialising in pre school children with special needs. She studied for a BSc in Psychology before gaining a masters degree with distinction in Speech and Language Therapy and Pathology at University College London in 2000. Nicky has worked in a variety of educational and healthcare settings, for example community clinics, multidisciplinay assessment centres, special schools and nurseries. Nicky has three young children, all of whom have attended Apples and Honey Wimbledon. 

Alison Goolnik

Finance Committee

Alison trained as a chartered accountant and currently works as Finance Director at Bow Lane Limited. Previous to that, she spent five years as Financial Controller at the Roof Gardens, London and six years at Environmental Resources Management. Alison also studied for a BSc in Psychology and holds a Masters Degree in Psychotherapy. Alison's daughter will soon be starting at Apples and Honey Wimbledon.

 

 

 

Edward Leek, Chair

Finance Committee

Edward studied Economics at Cambridge before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. He lived in Brazil for over fifteen years during which he gained broad experience as a partner in the firm. His experience includes leading work on M&A-related advisory projects, focusing on work for foreign investors in ther acquisition of Brazilian companies across a broad range of sectors including private equity, infrastructure, advertising and marketing, consumer, business services. He returned to the UK in 2014 where, in addition to his ongoing work for KPMG, he has invested in a nursery start-up business. His daughter is a current student at Apples and Honey Wimbledon. 

 

Gaby Moss

Fundraising Committee

Gaby is an experienced marketing professional who has worked for major corporations including Exxon Mobil and Procter Gamble. Gaby also has experience in the third sector working for The Carbon Trust for five years. Since having children, Gaby took on a new role working for a publisher specialisng in pregnancy, birth, and parenting books. Gaby has three children, all of whom have attended Apples and Honey Wimbledon. 

 

 

Kate Baum

HR Committee & Jewish Ethos Committee

Kate was a Head Teacher of Mosaic Jewish Primary School. Kate, as a specialist in primary mathematics, became one of Wandsworth Council's first Numeracy Consultants and progressed to manage the borough's Primary Numeracy Strategy. Kate is a graduate of University College London from which she has a BSc in Psychology and Cognitive Science. Following her Post Graduate Certificate in Education, she attained a Masters in Primary Education from Brunel University.
